Time makes the difference between the ephemeral and what remains as solid ground. Time allowed us to evaluate the strength of a project and also its capacity to reformulate itself. The economical and political crisis of 2001 in Argentina represented an extraordinary moment where alternative solutions arose, amidst a deep critic to the traditional way to make politics. Within that context, new forms of democracy appear in the shape of popular assemblies, workers-run factories and the piquetero movement. Three social movement experiences that sum up a piece of that period of our country and an attempt to leave neoliberalism behind. 10 years later, these groups still exist, and even though the economical context and the political scene seems to have change, they keep alive the spirit of the Diecinueveyveinte, those days of december.
